Construction & Demolition Recycling

The construction and demolition industry produces twice as much waste as households per year, with a large amount of that waste ending up in a landfill. You can keep good materials in use by sending recyclable materials to local vendors.

Be Part of the Solution,
Not the Confusion

Eureka Municipal Code § 150.026 requires that the California Green Building Standards be followed for all construction and demolition projects approved within the City of Eureka. Section 4.408 of the California Building Standards Code, Title 24, Part 11 mandates that construction and demolition projects recycle and/or salvage for reuse 65% of the nonhazardous debris generated by the project. Diverting waste from landfills benefits you as the contractor and the community as whole .
